It also has a little calculator button in the corner. As someone who is studying for his engineering degree, this little button is already coming in handy! The keyboard itself is quite ergonomic, with the keys gently curving to enable faster typing. It's taking a little adjusting for me, as I'm used to the old fashioned keyboards that are flat, but I'm already noting a faster typing speed than before.
The other nice feature, which I mentioned in the title, is that the keyboard is so quiet! My other keyboard clackety clacked, and the volume buttons were loud popping noises, but this keyboard and it's buttons are super quiet.
This is what ninjas use when they have to Google their targets. Nice and stealthy. As a final note, let me also say that the build quality is solid. No matter what price point you choose, you still get a great keypad. What you pay extra for in other models are the bells and whistles that I never use. And of course with wireless keyboards, you pay for "low delay" or "low lag", and other such wireless-only features. The action is great, and the key feel allows confident typing.
The key edges are not sharp and not square like cheap keyboards. The separation between the contact portion of the pads is great for my hands size large in gloves. Do not underestimate the importance of this if you use your keyboard for writing! It also separates those blocks well, which is a common failing of many keyboards. This is critical for typing in the dark. The bells and whistles I like are volume control and calculator, the former being so important when you have a docked laptop.
The one negative I have is that the numlock indicator is WAY too bright. But I keep a stock of dimming stickers light filters so it's a small thing to me. I should mention I am fairly light sensitive, so maybe it's not a big deal to you. I do like that the cap lock and scroll lock are bright because I really want to know when they are on right away. So, it's not a negative to this model, since most keyboards use too-bright lights.
